“Gonna Be Alright” wasn’t suppose to be a single. It was going to be the final track on the album. However, 2020 was full of unexpected surprises. COVID-19, nationwide quarantines, and racial disunity opened the door to fear, anxiety, and depression. Due to seeing global suffering, it only seemed right to shine a little light. In the world we live in today, it’s great to have artists like The Bozwellz to remind us it’s gonna be alright.
Shana’s stylistic range vocally is captured once again. There doesn’t seem to be a genre she can’t nail! Let’s not forget about her brilliant songwriting. These poetic lyrics encourage us to be the King’s and Queen’s we are created to be.
Dwayne produces and performs all the instruments with the exception of the featured performance by Josh Juarez on percussion. Also, Dwayne contributes background vocals, Opening MC, as well as co-writing this feel good anthem.

Sure, they have a soulful approach, but it transfers to all forms of music, which is unheard of. Both have huge backgrounds in Gospel, Soul, R&B, Rock and Country. Because of this, they are in high demand as producers, studio musicians, and singers. The Bozwellz music is unique, yet very familiar to the soul. It’s like a New Orleans style Gumbo. You take various ingredients that taste one way by themselves, however after putting them all together you get something extraordinary. That is the best and only way to describe The Bozwellz.
How it began…
You are probably wondering How this interracial couple hooked up in the deep south of Georgia? However, if you ask Shana she’ll say “Dwayne ain’t black?!” (In her best black girl voice while laughing)
Here’s the story! Dwayne was starting a new project and was in search of fresh musicians. While hanging out at an open mic, he heard Shana sing and was completely blown away. He joined her on stage for a duet and the chemistry was immediate and powerful. Ever since that magical moment, they have been inseparable. Married about a year later, the two combined talents and formed their band called: The Bozwellz. The live show is beautiful and exciting. There self titled debut album is one of the best offerings modern music has had in a long time. The sparks still fly, love is in the atmosphere, and the energy is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. The Bozwellz are here to stay and have something to say.
